The Old Church

The Old Church is the oldest building in Nieu Bethesda; it was once a stable, and later, in the 1890s, became the church around which the Calvinist village grew. The en-suite double is a spacious and beautiful old room, and promises an atmospheric stay in Nieu Bethesda.

You can organise tours to the Bushman Paintings, Fossil walks, The Mountain Zebra Park and The Valley of Desolation from here, hire bikes or find out about about the best hikes. If you don't have your own transport, they will pick you up from Graaff-Reinet for R50.
